Trauma-focused psychotherapy and sex therapy for adults and young adults (16+) in Ottawa and virtually across Ontario.

Choosing the right therapist is an important step, and understanding what to expect can make the process feel easier. Here, you’ll find an overview of the services I offer, how sessions are structured, and my current fees. My aim is to provide clear, transparent information so you can make the choice that feels right for you.

My approach integrates EMDR and IFS/parts work, with sex therapy available as a specialized area of support. Together, these approaches can help you process difficult experiences, better understand yourself, and reconnect with your body, relationships, and a sense of self.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)

EMDR is a trauma-focused approach that can help you process distressing experiences and memories that continue to affect how you feel, think, or respond in the present. In our sessions, we’ll work gently and at your pace, using eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation to help your brain reprocess past experiences. You can expect a supportive, step-by-step approach that prioritizes your sense of safety and control.

IFS (Internal Family Systems) & Parts Work

Parts work is a way of exploring the different “parts” of yourself—especially those that developed to protect you during difficult times. In our work, we’ll get to know these parts with curiosity and compassion, creating space for understanding and integration. You can expect a non-judgmental space where all parts of you are welcome and valued.

Sex therapy

Sex therapy offers a supportive and non-judgmental space to explore concerns related to sexuality, intimacy, and sexual well-being. Sessions may address sexual shame or anxiety, desire, arousal, orgasm, body image, boundaries, or difficulty feeling safe and present during intimacy. For some clients, sex therapy may also provide space to explore how past experiences or trauma have shaped their relationship with sexuality and their body.

Session fees

Individual therapy sessions are offered at $195 for 50 minutes and $270 for 80 minutes.

Longer sessions can be especially helpful for EMDR or more in-depth processing work, allowing us the time and space to explore more without feeling rushed. Payment is due at the end of the session, and receipts are provided for insurance or tax purposes.
