Services and fees

Choosing the right therapist is an important step, and understanding what to expect can make the process feel easier. Here, you’ll find an overview of the services I offer, how sessions are structured, and my current fees. My aim is to provide clear, transparent information so you can make the choice that feels right for you.

My approach combines EMDR, DBT, and IFS (parts work) to support both deep trauma processing and day-to-day coping. This combination allows us to address both the roots of your pain and the ways it shows up in your life today, always at a pace that feels right for you.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1. Do I need a referral to book a session?

No referral is required. You can reach out directly to schedule a free 20-minute virtual consultation.

2. Do you offer online or in-person sessions?

I currently offer both online and in-person services, which allow you flexibility in your scheduling.

3. Are your services covered by insurance?

Many extended health insurance plans in Canada cover psychotherapy provided by a Registered Psychotherapist (RP). Check with your insurance provider to confirm your coverage. I will provide a receipt after each session that you can submit for reimbursement.

4. How often will we meet?

This depends on your needs, goals, and schedule. Some clients prefer weekly sessions for consistent support, while others attend bi-weekly or even monthly. We can decide together what works best for you.

5. What can I expect in the first session?

Our first session is about getting to know each other. I’ll ask about your goals, background, and what you hope to gain from therapy. You’ll also have space to ask questions and see if my approach feels like a good fit for you.

6. How long will therapy take?

Every person’s journey is unique. Some clients work with me for a few months on specific goals, while others choose longer-term therapy for deeper exploration and integration. We’ll regularly check in on your progress and adjust as needed.

7. What’s your cancellation policy?

I ask for at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to the full session fee and cancellations within 24 hours to 48 hours' notice may be subject to 50% of the session fee.

8. Do you work with clients outside of Ontario?

I am only able to work with clients who are physically located in Ontario or Quebec due to licensing regulations.
